The management model implemented by the National Treasury Secretariat seeks to reflect the
interaction among the higher administration, coordination of work processes, teams and
innovative strategic and administrative support activities. It is founded upon an organizational
concept in which persons must be aware of strategic objectives, master work techniques, know
where and how to foster improvements, identify their contribution to the final results and
understand the impacts generated by their efforts.
Consequently, the National Treasury Secretariat follows a management system targeted at
potentializing modernization initiatives and tendencies, based on the following premises:
strategic planning; vision of work processes; grouping of activities; coordination mechanisms;
and the fostering of innovative actions in the fields of human, financial, technological and
informational resources management and performance evaluation.
