Arno Hugo Augustin Filho

Born in Carazinho, Rio Grande do Sul, in 1960, Arno Hugo Augustin Filho graduated in economics in 1983 from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. During his career, he has occupied a number of positions in the state and federal public sectors, among which the following deserve mention: Deputy Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Finance - 2003/2004, State Secretary of Finance of R�o Grande do Sul - 1999/2002 and Secretary of Finance of Porto Alegre - 1992/1998. He was named to the post of Secretary of the National Treasury in June 2007.
